I like this blog, Caroline! It encourages me to give Caleb more opportunities to be creative. I’m not very crafy, but maybe I could start a craft area where he could have some freedom to create. Thanks for taking time to write these blogs!

Caroline, this was a GREAT post! First, Kuddos to Chris! So glad you found a resource that has helped him! As always, your pictures are wonderful…you capture the simple, everyday moments so beautifully! Next, you have inspired me to add to my “organization to do list” and set up an art center for Ross. Although a tall art easel is nice, they can be bulky & expensive. You have given me an idea that is streamlined and functional and gives Ross options (probably more options than a big easel)! THANKS SO MUCH! Now for the question…where did you get the table top easel? Keep up the great work! I enjoy your Friday posts

Love the idea of keeping the materials at their level with the simple rules so they can enjoy creativity more regularly! One thing I do with paints is put the dollops in an egg carton so each color stays in a little egg spot and then they can mix on the flatter side of the carton and then paint. Thanks for you family fridays!

We have all the craft stuff in the kitchen but locked up for now. Silas is SO not trustworthy! Cambrya would probably end up with marker all over her. Fun little story for you – I let Silas play outside with the hose and he is free to spray whatever he wants – usually Piper. This time he sprayed Cambrya when I walked away….poor thing was sopping wet! So I took the house and sprayed him in the head – I don’t think he will be doing that again!! LOL So glad that you found something that is helping Chris…it is so nice when we are able to give them the tools to do better. Love ya!
