I really really LOVE shooting engagement sessions!! Getting a chance to work with my couples before their wedding day is priceless. I had a great time getting to know the two of them and watching how they interacted together.. how Brandon helped Chianna when they were climbing on the rocks for some photos, how comfortable they were together, and how happy they looked! I am especially excited for their June wedding!
I have so enjoyed every wedding I have photographed this fall, and Maurice and Jennifer’s wedding was no exception.
I met Jennifer and her bridesmaids at her parents’ house while she got ready, and then we headed to Ascension Catholic Church for the ceremony. The couple had wisely planned for a few hours in between the ceremony and reception (I’m a huge fan of doing that!) so that we would have plenty of time for photos. We started out at Gleason Park, and then did some more on the docks at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, which is where the reception was being held. We got a special treat while doing the photos on the dock, as a couple who had just come in on their sailboat offered to let us do some photos on their boat! Then it was time to celebrate and dance the night away.. and what wedding wouldn’t be complete without a mannequin challenge?
