A few weeks ago I visited my family in Jacksonville.  While I was there I had the chance to photograph one of my best friends in the whole world with her family.  Amy and I have been friends ever since we met at Colorguard Tryouts at the end of 8th grade.  She set an example for me of someone who worked hard, did her best, was kind and considerate to others, and who loved the Lord.  I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without her!

Even though we haven’t lived in the same state since we graduated from high school, we have managed to remain friends.  I loved getting to see her and her family for a little while!

Amy’s family consists of her parents, her sisters Carla and Pam, and Pam’s husband Jeremy.  Pam and Jeremy are pregnant with their first baby, a little girl.  Pam was about 20 weeks along when we did these, so she wasn’t too big yet.. but still cute

Disclaimer: I don’t normally bring Josh along when I shoot!  But since I was out of town, I didn’t really have a choice.  But it gave Mr. Lahey a chance to practice being a grandpa!

One of the things they enjoy doing together is playing cards, so they brought a deck along for a few shots.
